Suspect On Loose After Attempted Robbery At Long Island Gas Station Police are searching for a suspect after an overnight attempted armed robbery at a Long Island gas station. It happened around 2:15 a.m. Sunday, April 23 in Valley Stream. The suspect entered the BP gas station on Rockaway Avenue and approached the register where a 25-year-old man was working, Nassau County Police said. He then displayed what appeared to be a black pistol and pointed it in the direction of the worker. The third-prize winning Power Play ticket for the Wednesday, Feb. 1, drawing was purchased in Valley Stream, at the BP station on Rockaway Avenue. It has four matching numbers plus the Powerball. The winning numbers for Wednesday’s drawing are: 31-43-58-59-66 and the Powerball is 9. The Power Play multiplier is 2, meaning the third-place prize was doubled. Powerball drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 11 p.m.

Alert Issued For Wanted Long Island Man Have you seen him? An alert has been issued for a suspect who allegedly violated the terms of his court-ordered probation and is now wanted. Titus Green, 27, of East Rockaway, is wanted by police in Nassau County on a violation of probation charge after he allegedly violated the court-ordered conditions.  Green was released following his arrest and later failed to appear for court proceedings, leading to a bench warrant for his arrest for violating his probation.
