Long Island Man Drove Drunk With Child In Car, Police Say A 42-year-old Long Island man was driving drunk with a child in the car when he was stopped overnight, police say. According to Nassau County Police, Patrick Halligan, 42, of Syosset, was driving a 2014 Jeep Wrangler, and was observed by police unsafely change lanes at about 10:15 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5 in Greenvale. The vehicle was traveling eastbound on Northern Boulevard and Glen Cove Road when the officer activated emergency lights and conducted a vehicle and traffic law stop.
