Patrick Destine, of Queens, was arraigned on second-degree murder and other charges in Nassau County Court on Wednesday, June 7, in the beating death of 54-year-old David McKenzie in Baldwin in April 2023. Road-Rage Murder Update: Long Island Man Identified As Victim The man brutally killed by beating after a road rage incident on Saturday, April 15 has been identified as David McKenzie, age 54, of Baldwin, police said.  McKenzie was pronounced dead after 26-year-old Patrick Destine allegedly beat him to death.
