It happened on Friday, Jan. 1 just after 5:30 p.m. in East Meadow. Officers from the Nassau County Police Department on patrol at approximately 1 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 24 attempted to stop the driver of a 2012 Nissan Rogue for driving erratically on the Hempstead Turnpike in East Meadow.
