Police are asking the public's help in locating the suspect in a violent assault at the parking lot of a Long Island School. The incident happened around 12:30 p.m. Sunday, May 29 in Bellmore. Two Police Officers Hospitalized After Long Island Crash Two police officers were hospitalized after their cruiser crashed on a busy Long Island roadway. The incident happened just before 7:30 p.m. Friday, July 9 in Freeport.
