A man allegedly on Ketamine injured a Nassau County Police officer and became combative with hospital workers after crashing into a fence in Uniondale, police said. Garden City resident Ryan Marrinan was driving through the intersection of Westbury Boulevard and Oak Street at approximately 4:20 p.m. on Sunday, March 21 when he lost control and struck a chain-link fence outside the UPS Customer Service Center. Long Island Man Nabbed With Illegal Weapons, Ammunition
A Long Island man is facing a host of weapons charges after allegedly threatening a man and woman with who he had “drug dealings” with by using a loaded shotgun, police said. Levittown resident Christopher Price, 74, agreed to meet with a 31-year-old woman and 50-year-old man near the intersection of Shepard Lane and Market Lane in Levittown shortly before 2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 20. Long Island Doctor Charged For Illegally Selling Oxycodone, Other Drugs
A Long Island doctor was arrested by federal agents on charges he illegally prescribed oxycodone to two patients without a legitimate medical purpose including a drug dealer who resold the drugs and a patient who died of an overdose. Tameshwar Ammar, 51, of Amityville, pleaded not guilty in federal court in Central Islip on Thursday, Nov. 7, to the charges of conspiracy to distribute oxycodone and two counts of distribution of oxycodone, said the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York.
