Long Island Man Charged In Connection With Fatal Overdose
A Long Island man has been charged in connection with a fatal overdose, police say. Nassau County Police say the investigation of a fatal overdose in Wantagh led to the discovery and arrest of Jack Gisonda, 54, of Franklin Square on Wednesday, Oct. 17 around 2:35 p.m. Gisonda was found to be in possession of morphine pills at the time of his arrest, police say. Gisonda was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance. He is scheduled to be arraigned on Friday, Oct. 18 at First District Court in Hempstead. …
