Suspect From Suffolk County Nabbed After Jewelry Store Heist, Police Say
A Long Island man with a history of jewelry store heists was arrested after allegedly attempting to steal a tray of goods from an area store, police said. Nassau County Police investigators said that Bay Shore resident Kobeen Castillo Orellana, age 20, walked into Forever Diamonds on Sunrise Highway in Massapequa at approximately 2:45 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 21, requesting to see a tray of jewelry from behind the counter.
