Long Island Firm Illegally Sold Chinese-Made Security, Surveillance Equipment, Reports Say A Long Island-based company allegedly illegally imported and sold Chinese-made surveillance and security equipment to the government agencies and private firms. Employees at Aventura Technologies Inc. in Commack, are expected to be charged in a federal indictment for illegally importing the equipment. Six were expected to make an appearance on Thursday morning in Brooklyn federal court, according to multiple reports.
