Brookhaven Man Critically Injured After Pickup Truck Crashes Into Tree, Police Say Police are investigating a crash that left a Long Island man critically injured.  It happened around 2:50 p.m. Saturday, March 12 in Holbrook. A 63-year-old Brookhaven man was driving a 2007 Ford pickup truck westbound on Express Drive North when the vehicle left the road, struck a tree and overturned, Suffolk County Police said. Officers from the Emergency Service Section and members of the Ronkonkoma Fire Department extricated the man from the vehicle.
