Man Threatened To Kill Residents Of Long Island Home After Attempted Burglary, Police Say A 21-year-old was apprehended after police say he attempted to burglarize a Long Island home and then threatened to kill the residents. Anthony Ayala attempted to enter a home without permission on Elizabeth Street in Farmingdale at around 11:30 p.m. Sunday, July 4 by pushing in a bedroom air conditioner after attempting entry through other locked areas of the home, Nassau County Police said.  Once confronted, Ayala, a Farmingdale resident, threatened to kill everyone inside the residence, according to police.  The residents were able to call the police and Ayala was arreste…
