The incident took place around 1 p.m., Friday, Dec. 24, in Lakeview, said the Nassau County Police. Authorities Seek Info After Dog Stolen From Suffolk County Home Authorities have asked the public for help locating a woman wanted for questioning after a dog was stolen from a Long Island home. Suffolk County Crime Stoppers said the French Bulldog was stolen during a burglary at a home in Bay Shore between Saturday, Nov. 27, and Sunday, Nov. 28. That Sunday, a woman dropped the dog off at Animal Emergency Service, located at 280 Middle Country Road in Selden, Crime Stoppers said.  The woman provided false contact information, authorities said.  The dog has since been returned to the owner. A person or people entered a home in Huntington, located on Robin Lane between approximately 4 p.m. and 11 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 25, and stole the French Bulldog and a Sony PlayStation 5, Suffolk County Police said. The French Bulldog, 4-year-old Stella, was located Saturday, Nov. 27 on Rhododendron Drive in Center Moriches.  She has been returned to her owners.  The investigation into the burglary is continuing. Roy Gross, Chief of the Suffolk SPCA said that the dog “Bella” had gone missing from her yard on Elm Avenue in Ronkonkoma on Dec. 18, 2019.  An initial anonymous tip was given that an unknown jogger had picked up Bella but this was found to be untrue, Gross said.
