Bandit, a male shih-tzu and poodle mix, was last seen in the front yard of his Huntington Station home on Wednesday, June 21, according to Suffolk County Police. At approximately 9:50 p.m., a man approached the Beverly Road home and stole Bandit, fleeing in what police said could possibly be a Mercury Grand Marquis. Bandit is in need of medication. The incident took place around 1 p.m., Friday, Dec. 24, in Lakeview, said the Nassau County Police. Authorities Seek Info After Dog Stolen From Suffolk County Home Authorities have asked the public for help locating a woman wanted for questioning after a dog was stolen from a Long Island home. Suffolk County Crime Stoppers said the French Bulldog was stolen during a burglary at a home in Bay Shore between Saturday, Nov. 27, and Sunday, Nov. 28. That Sunday, a woman dropped the dog off at Animal Emergency Service, located at 280 Middle Country Road in Selden, Crime Stoppers said.  The woman provided false contact information, authorities said.  The dog has since been returned to the owner. A person or people entered a home in Huntington, located on Robin Lane between approximately 4 p.m. and 11 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 25, and stole the French Bulldog and a Sony PlayStation 5, Suffolk County Police said.
