The crash happened in Bay Shore at about 4:15 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 14. A 22-year-old Centereach man was driving a 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan west on Sunrise Service Road, about 500 feet west of Atlantic Avenue, when the Dodge struck the man in the roadway, the Suffolk County Police Department said. Long Island Motorist Killed After Collision With Minivan, Crash Into Tree
A Long Island motorist was killed after colliding with a minivan then crashing into a tree. It happened just before 7 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 21 in Woodmere. While traveling eastbound on Peninsula Boulevard, a 2005 Mercury Sable was in a collision with a 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan near the intersection of Lafayette Drive, Nassau County Police. The collision caused the operator of the Mercury to lose control of his vehicle and strike a tree. As a result of the collision, the operator suffered fatal injuries.
