Teen Hit By Car Outside High School On Long Island, Seriously Injured A teenage girl suffered serious injuries after she was hit by a car near a high school on Long Island, police said. It happened on Tuesday, Oct. 3 in Levittown, according to Nassau County Police. At approximately 3:50 p.m., a 14-year-old girl was on Division Avenue just north of Church Road — the location of Division Avenue High School — when she was struck by a 2016 Mazda. The girl was taken via helicopter to a local hospital for her serious injuries. She is currently in stable condition, officials said.
