Two Suspects Steal Catalytic Converters Valued At $30K From LI Business Police are searching for two suspects accused of stealing catalytic converters worth thousands of dollars from a Long Island business. The owner of Novak Auto called police at about 11:30 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 17, and reported that an unknown person or people entered his business without permission, according to the Nassau County Police Department. The business is located at 4 Hampton Road in Oceanside.  When police arrived, they discovered that part of the front metal wall was removed and used catalytic converters were stolen, NCPD said. ID Released For Long Island Boy Struck, Killed By SUV A teenage boy who was killed after being struck by an SUV at a busy Long Island intersection has been identified. The crash happened Sunday, Jan. 12 at 5:08 p.m. in Oceanside. According to Nassau| County Police detectives, while attempting to cross Daly Boulevard on a bicycle, from the south side to the north side, the 14-year-old boy, now identified as Dylan Schuster, of Oceanside, was struck by a 2020 Chevrolet Equinox traveling westbound on Daly Blvd. in the vicinity of Long Beach Road.  Schuster suffered multiple injuries and was transported by Oceanside Fire Department …
