The incident took place in Holtsville around 5:50 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 13. According to the Suffolk County Police, Officers Frederick Reed and Stacey Byrnes along with the Holbrook Fire Department provided life-saving aid to a woman in medical distress in Holbrook. Emergency crews were called to a home in Suffolk County on Church Street in Holbrook Friday, May 13, with reports that an 81-year-old man had suffered cardiac arrest. When officers arrived, they found the man unresponsive and without a pulse, police said. Man Hospitalized After Suffering Medical Event At Long Island Restaurant A 61-year-old man was hospitalized after suffering a medical event at a Long Island restaurant. The man suffered the medical episode in Levittown at about 10:45 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 4, according to the Nassau County Police Department. When officers arrived, a nurse was giving the man CPR, NCPD said. Officers continued giving CPR, and the man regained and lost a pulse multiple times, police said.  Wantagh-Levittown Ambulance Corp. also responded and began giving medical aid, NCPD said.  The man was taken to an area hospital and was listed in stable condition, police said.

Child Found Unconscious In Pool At Long Island Home A child was found unconscious at a Long Island home. The boy, whose age has not yet been released, was pulled from a rear yard pool at about 12:10 p.m. Tuesday, May 18 on Imperial Drive in Baldwin Harbor, Nassau County Police said. CPR was performed by First Precinct police officers at the scene and the boy was transported in a Nassau County Police Ambulance to a nearby hospital.
