IDs Released For Teen Victims In Double-Fatal Southern State Parkway Crash In Babylon The identities have been released of two people killed in a weekend crash on Long Island. It happened around 5:40 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 28 on the Southern State Parkway in Babylon on the westbound side near Exit 35. State Police are saying that an investigation revealed a 2015 Infiniti Q50 was traveling in the center lane while approaching the exit when it struck a 2015 Jeep Compass in the rear.  The impact caused the Infiniti to exit the roadway onto the right shoulder where it struck a tree, killing the driver and sole passenger inside, according to state police.
