4 Suffolk Businesses Closed, 2 Women Charged After Complaints, Including For Prostitution
Four businesses on Long Island were shut down and two women were arrested following quality of life complaints from residents.
Suffolk County Police coordinated with Brookhaven town investigators, building inspector, and fire marshall to investigate numerous quality of life complaints, including prostitution.

Two Charged In Suffolk County Massage Parlor Raid
Two women were charged with the felony of unauthorized practice of a profession after multiple complaints were lodged about a Long Island massage parlor, according to police.
Officers raided B & B Retreat Inc., doing business as "SPALAX" on 38 E. Main St. in the village of Babylon at approximately 3 p.m. on Thursday, Oct 1, Suffolk County Police said.
Queens residents Liyu Qian, 40, and Zhouxia Zheng, 52, both of Flushing, were charged with felonies under New York State Education Law.
The village's building inspector also issued multiple code violations, said police.

Suffolk Restaurant Shut Down, Manager, Customers Arrested During Inspection
A Long Island restaurant was closed and condemned after six people, including staffers and customers, were arrested during a State Liquor Authority inspection.
In addition, 17 building and fire inspection codes were violated by Y & Y Latin Grill located at 577 Broadway in Amityville, Suffolk County Police said.
The inspection started just before 11 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 11.
