Bicyclist Struck In Westhampton Airlifted To Hospital, Police Say
A bicyclist hit by a vehicle was airlifted to a Long Island hospital. The incident took place in Westhampton around 10:45 a.m., Monday, Sept. 26 on Old Riverhead Road. Southampton Town police responded and requested additional personnel for assistance, said Lt. Susan Ralph of the Southampton Police. Westhampton Beach Police, Suffolk County Sheriff’s, Westhampton Beach Fire Department, and Westhampton Beach Volunteer Ambulance responded as well.
