Swerving Motorist Drove Drunk On Long Island With Children In Car, Police Say A man stopped for swerving between lanes was driving drunk with his two children in the car overnight on Long Island. The stop happened on Saturday, Oct. 12 at 12:10 a.m. in Jericho, The Nassau County Police said. According to police, while on routine patrol, officers observed Jose Simon Cuzco Remache, 28, of Brooklyn, operating a 2017 Dodge Caravan.  The vehicle was traveling northbound on North Broadway and was following another vehicle too closely while failing to maintain a lane repeatedly, police said.
