A man was seriously injured n a two-vehicle crash near a Long Island supermarket. It happened on Friday, Nov. 11 at 9:10 a.m. in Massapequa. A 76-year-old man operating a 2019 Mazda SUV was involved in a collision with a 2022 Ram truck being operated by a 29-year-old man, Nassau County Police said. The Mazda was traveling eastbound on Merrick Road and after attempting to make a turn into the Lidl market at 5601 Merrick Road was struck on its passenger side by the Ram, which was traveling westbound on Merrick Road, according to police. Dirt Bike Driver Seriously Injured During Crash On Long Island Highway, Police Say
Police are investigating a serious auto accident on Long Island involving a man riding a dirt bike. The accident took place around 8:53 sp.m., Thursday, May 27, on the Babylon Turnpike in Roosevelt. According to detectives, while heading northbound on Babylon Turnpike operating the dirt bike, a 29-year-old man was involved in a collision with another motorist who was heading southbound, said the Nassau County Police. Man Critically Injured After Being Hit By Pickup Truck On Busy Long Island Roadway
A man was critically injured after being struck by a pickup truck on a busy Long Island roadway overnight. The incident happened on Thursday, Dec. 31 at 6:05 p.m. in Mineola. While attempting to cross Jericho Turnpike north to south in the vicinity of Nassau Blvd., the 29-year-old was struck by a 2020 Dodge pickup traveling eastbound, Nassau County Police said.
