Shooting Outside Ronkonkoma Home Leaves One Dead, Police Say

Police on Long Island are asking the public for help finding a suspect after a shooting that left one man dead.

It took place in front of 385 Wildwood Road in Ronkonkoma around 8:50 a.m., Friday, April 29.

Following an investigation by Suffolk County Police, it was determined the victim, a 32-year-old resident of the home, had been shot outside the residence, police said.

The victim was transported by ambulance to Stony Brook University Hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.

Police have not released the identity of the victim pending notification of family members.
