Person Struck, Killed By Lirr Train

An unidentified person was struck and killed by a train on the Long Island Railroad.

The person was hit around 10 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 8, at the Rockville Centre Station by a westbound train, said MTA Spokesman Aaron Donovan.

The MTA police are investigating. An early investigation found that the incident appears to be non-criminal, non-accidental in nature.
