Unsettlingly unorthodox yet decidedly delicious, the quirky compulsion to top traditional cheese pizza with a heaping handful of fresh, shredded mozzarella has earned Little Vincent’s “Cold Cheese Slice” a spot on The Daily Meal’s 101 Best Pizzas in America for 2018, ranking at number 69.

With a thin and crispy crust, Little Vincent’s “Cold Cheese Slice” provides three distinct textures of cheese: hot and melted, warm and beginning to melt, and cold, unmelted and refreshing mozzarella goodness.

Of course, Little Vincent’s also offers plenty of traditional toppings, but the cold cheese slice has become its most noteworthy menu item.

It’s no surprise that Little Vincent’s famous cold cheese slice has earned the establishment a four-star rating on Yelp with nearly 350 reviews.

“The go-to spot for good pizza. Never disappoints. Late night hours makes Little Vincent’s truly a standout. The cold slice is boss. The hot meets cold mixed with the saltiness of the cheese and the sauce - it's perfect,” writes Kensasha B. in a June 17 Yelp review.

Little Vincent’s Pizza, located at 329 New York Ave., is open from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Monday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 4 a.m. Friday through Sunday. For more information, visit the restaurant’s Yelp page.
