Anthony Baratta, an interior designer nicknamed the “king of East-Coast chic,” has listed his Southampton home for rent for the summer, according to its listing.
The home — located at 707 Pleasure Drive in Flanders — will be available from Memorial Day to Labor Day 2024 for a cool $55,000.
With all the stylings expected by a professional designer, the two-bed, two-bath house has a modern, angular dark-gray exterior with a pop of color in the bright red door.
Once inside, guests will find a space that plays with textures and pops of colors while still maintaining a sense of calm, with neutral colors and 2,550 square feet of space. Both bathrooms are described as “spacious,” with spa-like finishes in the light-toned woods and creamy whites.
Outside, where you’ll want to spend warm summer nights, guests can take a dip in the heated pool or host a barbecue on the large back deck.
The grounds are surrounded by mature trees, and it is only a five-minute drive from the waterfront where the North and South Fork meet.
Anthony Baratta has been working in the design industry since 1981. In 2018, he was designated as the Designer in Residence at Colonial Williamsburg.
He has also worked with Philip and Tammy Murphy, the Governor and First Lady of New Jersey, renovating the historic Drumthwacket.
Baratta’s work has been on over 70 magazine covers and his pro-bono work includes designing The Ronald McDonald House of New Hyde Park.
