A major highway in the region will go down to just a single lane for a week, spelling potential delays for commuters. In Columbia County, one southbound lane of the Taconic State Parkway will close in the town of Taghkanic between County Route 10 and Exit 80 beginning at 7 a.m. Monday, April 29. Car Flips Over On Taconic State Parkway, Driver Hospitalized
One person was taken to a hospital after their vehicle flipped over on the Taconic State Parkway in Northern Westchester. The crash happened on Friday, March 3 just after noon when a car flipped over on the Taconic State Parkway southbound in Millwood just past the Exit 8 ramp, according to the Millwood Fire Department. The occupant of the vehicle was able to free themselves from the wreckage and was evaluated by personnel from Ossining EMS and the Millwood Fire Department.
