Ulster County resident Mainor E. Sagastume, age 33, of Kingston, was charged following extradition from Lee County in Flordia on Wednesday, Oct. 11.

Ulster County resident Corey Marshall, age 34, of Kingston, was indicted by an Ulster County Grand Jury on Tuesday, Oct. 3 for the felonies of attempted murder, assault, and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon.

A Hudson Valley who hit a teen in the head with a hammer, fracturing his skull, has been found guilty of attempted murder and assault by a jury.
Orange County resident, Shawn Beach, age 43, of Port Jervis, was convicted on Friday, Aug. 18, said Orange County District Attorney David M. Hoovler.
Beach faces up to 50 in prison when sentenced, Hoovler said.

A Hudson Valley man has been charged with attempted murder in the shooting of two men inside an area restaurant.
The incident took place in Rockland County on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2022, in Haverstraw at the P&D Seafood restaurant at 9 Main St.
Haverstraw police responded to the area of 9 Main St., on a report of shots fired in the area, said Capt. John Gould Jr., of the Haverstraw Police.

A jail inmate in the region is facing attempted murder charges stemming from a brutal, unprovoked attack on a corrections officer, authorities said.
The incident happened Wednesday evening, Jan. 4, at the Rensselaer County jail in Troy, according to the sheriff’s office.
Investigators said Matthew Fluty, of Troy, “maliciously” attacked the unsuspecting officer after taking his two-way radio to prevent him from calling for help. The officer was overpowered, beaten, and choked to the point of unconsciousness.

A 19-year-old man has been officially indicted on charges connected to the shooting of a 15-year-old boy in Westchester County, according to the county's district attorney.
The suspect, Yonkers resident Joseph Tejera, is accused of shooting the victim twice on Wednesday, Oct. 26 on Woodworth Avenue in Yonkers, according to Westchester County District Attorney Miriam Rocah.
