The East Fishkill Police Department said it received a report Monday afternoon of the bear sighted on a neighbors's property in the area of Quail Run Road in Wiccopee, a hamlet in East Fishkill. On Wednesday, a black and white cat was found in Holmes, near the Putnam-Dutchess county line, which has since been taken to the Putnam Humane Society for evaluation and safekeeping.
