An 18-year-old woman has been hit with drunk driving charges after crashing her car while intoxicated in Northern Westchester, police said. The arrest stemmed from an early morning incident on Sunday, July 2 just before 6 a.m., when police in Yorktown responded to Granite Springs Road, where there had been a reported car crash. Repeat Offender: Somers Woman Charged With Second DWI After Crash, Police Say
A woman charged with drunk driving after an accident in Northern Westchester was found to have a previous DWI conviction, police said. On Friday, Dec. 9, around 11:50 p.m., police in Yorktown responded to a single-vehicle accident on Granite Springs Road and determined that the driver had been operating the car while intoxicated, according to Yorktown Police. The driver, identified as 45-year-old Elizabeth Noble of Somers, was then arrested and taken to a local hospital for evaluation. A Passaic man is facing charges after allegedly pushing a woman into a rock wall, leaving her with an injury to her head in Northern Westchester, police said. Officers from the Yorktown Police Department received a report shortly after 6:15 p.m. on Friday, April 6 of a domestic incident at Sparkle Lake on Granite Springs Road, prompting an investigation.
