Concetta "Connie" Monda Of Bridgeport Dies at 91 BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- Lifelong Bridgeport, Conn., resident Concetta "Connie" Monda died on June 8 at St. Vincent Medical Center at the age of 91. Born in Bridgeport on Oct. 8, 1923 to the late Cesare and Lucia (Varchetti) Monda, the Central High School alum was an avid gardener and a longtime member of St. Margaret's Altar Guild. Monda served her country as a WAVE in WWII, and was a retired legal secretary.
