Successful hip-hop artist and New York native Sean Combs, who is also known as "Puff Daddy," "P. Diddy," and "Diddy," is being sued by a producer on his latest album who is accusing him of sexual harassment, according to numerous reports.
The lawsuit against Combs, a Westchester County native from Mount Vernon, was filed in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York on Monday, Feb. 26, and accuses the artist and producer of sexually harassing, threatening, and drugging producer Rodney "Lil Rod" Jones, according to a report by NBC News.

A popular and well-respected Hudson Valley judge has died.
Dutchess County Judge Gerald V. Hayes of Poughkeepsie, age 82, had been battling lymphocytic leukemia for three years.
Hayes, who died on Saturday, Jan. 27, was a man of deep faith, hard work, great sacrifice, profound wisdom, remarkable accomplishments, and the highest character, his obituary said.
Hayes originally studied to become a priest but changed his mind and received his juris doctorate from Fordham Law School in 1968. Shortly after he went to work as Assistant District Attorney in Manhattan.

Northern Westchester County resident William Ciringione, of of Yorktown Heights, won big when he claimed his scratch-off prize, lottery officials announced on Thursday, Dec. 21.
The massive $5 million prize, which he won on the Cash X100 scratch-off game, was sold at the 7-Eleven, located at 1949 Commerce St. in Yorktown Heights.

To help those struggling with rising costs, New York Gov. Kathy Hochul has announced that the state's minimum wage will be increasing when the new year begins.
Effective on Monday, Jan. 1, the minimum wage in Westchester County, Long Island, and New York City will increase to $16 per hour, and $15 per hour in the rest of the state, Hochul announced on Monday, Dec. 11.

Veteran journalist Pablo Guzman, who became well-known and well-loved among New Yorkers over his decades on the air with several outlets, has died, according to a report by CBS News.
