Long Island resident Borndivine Intelligence Jackson, age 26, of Bellport, was formally indicted on weapons charges Friday, Oct. 28, in Suffolk County Court. Prosecutors said Jackson ran from Suffolk County Police officers in June 2022 during a search for a suspect in an unrelated shooting investigation in Shirley. NY Contractor Accused Of Scamming Customers Out Of $20K A Long Island contractor has been accused of scamming customers out of more than $20,000 over the past six months, according to authorities. Father, Daughter Wanted In Girl Scout Cookie Scam Targeting Local NY Residents Police in New York are reporting they have received at least 11 complaints from residents who said they gave to buy Girl Scouts cookies that were never delivered. The incidents on Long Island were reported to Suffolk County Police between Saturday, June 18, and Monday, June 20, the department said. Police say the alleged cookie scam took place in the following communities: Lake Ronkonkoma, Bohemia, and Patchogue, to Shirley to Mastic.
