Police are investigating after the body of a Black woman was found in a wooded area in the Hudson Valley. The woman's body was found in Rockland County on Wednesday, April 3, in the area of the baseball field on Dutch Lane in the village of Spring Valley. Spring Valley Police said the woman is about 60 years years old but did not provide details on how the woman, who has not yet been identified, died or where. A woman died after her car was hit by a vehicle operated by a man allegedly driving erratically in the Hudson Valley. The crash took place in Rockland County in Central Nyack around 7:15 p.m., Tuesday, May 30 on Route 59 in the area of Broome Boulevard. According to Det. A 41-year-old woman has been charged with felony manslaughter and other charges in the death of a man killed when she crossed into the wrong lane on a busy Hudson Valley roadway. Lane Closures Expected For Stretch Of Highway In Hudson Valley
Officials are advising motorists to expect lane closures on a stretch of a Hudson Valley highway. The New York State Department of Transportation said Rockland County motorists should plan for lane closures on Route 59 eastbound and westbound between Route 303 in Clarkstown and Route 9W in Orangetown. The lane closures are set to be implemented nightly from Monday, Aug. 22, through Friday, Aug. 26, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., to facilitate roadway paving, officials said.

Man Dies After Vehicle Falls Off Overpass In Area
A man died after his car fell from an overpass in the area. The incident happened around 3:45 a.m. Sunday, June 13 in Rockland County. When Clarkstown Police arrived at the scene in Nanuet, they discovered the overturned vehicle in the eastbound lane near the median on Route 59. The sole passenger was declared dead at the scene.
