'Concerning Statements' Leads To Investigation At Westchester Middle School
Some school officials in Westchester are on high alert after students reportedly made comments deemed to be threatening in nature. More than two dozen newly confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported in a Westchester school, forcing some classes to transition to their all-virtual learning. Bronxville Schools Superintendent Roy Montesano reported on Friday, Jan. 22 that there were multiple new COVID-19 cases confirmed at the elementary, middle, and high school. Another new COVID-19 case has been confirmed in a staffer at a Westchester school that has seen a small surge in recent infections. Bronxville Schools Superintendent issued a notice to the community on Wednesday, Nov. 25 advising that an employee at the Elementary School has tested positive for the virus, and anyone who may have been exposed has been contacted. New Principal Takes Over At Middle School In Westchester
A longtime Long Island educator and administrator is heading north to serve as principal at a middle school in Northern Westchester. The Chappaqua Board of Education announced that current Lynbrook South Middle School principal Joseph Wiener has been tabbed to head the Robert E.
