Members of the Putnam Sheriff’s Department Narcotics Enforcement Unit (NEU) say they observed a driver commit a traffic violation in the Town of Putnam Valley on Thursday, July 11. New York State Police troopers stopped a vehicle on I-287 in Greenburgh shortly after 1:30 a.m. on Saturday, when the driver, Elmsford resident Alexander Ramos committed several vehicle and traffic violations. During the subsequent stop, troopers said that Ramos, was found to be intoxicated and he was arrested.
