GARFIELD, N.J. – Richard Cimiluca, of Garfield, formerly of Saddle Brook, died Monday, June 27. He was 61.
He worked for Versa Products as a machinist. He was a very active member of the Paramus Elks, Lodge 2001 and a former exalted ruler.

R. Michael Brown, Red Hook Interior Designer, 78
RED HOOK, N.Y. – R. Michael Brown, who lived in Re Hook and New York City, an interior designer who helped designate 117 New York City interiors as landmarks, died Thursday, June 16, due to lymphoma., reports The New York Times. He was 78.
Appointed to the Landmarks Preservation Commission in 1977, he was instrumental in helping interior landmarks obtain protection by the committee. Brown saved spaces at locations including Radio City Music Hall, Grand Central Terminal, the Empire State Building, the Chrysler Building and the original City Hall Subway station, reports The New York Times.

PARK RIDGE, N.J. – Pascack Historical Society volunteers invite residents to revisit a time when conservative American traditions and mores were pushed to the limit with their new exhibit, “The Jazz Age: Fashions, Flappers & Flasks,” running during regular visiting hours now through Sunday, Aug. 28.
The Jazz Age, the time between the end of World War I (1918) and the stock market crash of 1929, was noted for increased nationwide prosperity, liberated social and sexual behaviors, Prohibition and the accompanying production of bootleg liquor, speakeasies, and jazz.

Peekskill Celebrates Class Of 2016
PEEKSKILL, N.Y. – Peekskill High School graduates accepted their diplomas in front of family and friends on Sunday at Paramount Hudson Valley in Peekskill.
Out of the 170 graduates, 95 percent of Peekskill’s Class of 2016 will head off to college, vocational school or the armed forces after graduation. College acceptances include Fairleigh Dickinson University, Hofstra University, Marist College, New York Institute of Technology, Pace University, as well as multiple SUNY, CUNY and community colleges, among others.
