Two Westchester Store Clerks Charged In Underage Drinking Detail

A check of 15 stores in the area during an underage drinking enforcement detail has resulted in charges against two store clerks for selling alcohol to minors.

State Police conducted plain-clothes checks of the retail locations in Westchester County that sell alcohol to ensure their compliance with New York State's Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) Law on Friday, April 19.

The two clerks cited were:

Dipak Panday, 43, of Mahopac, an employee of Swans Deli, Route 22, North Salem, was charged with prohibited sale of an alcoholic beverage, a Class A misdemeanor. Panday was issued an appearance ticket to the Town of North Salem Court on April 29.

Amy Cilmi Parr, 51, of North Salem, an employee of Hayfield Market, Bloomer Road, North Salem, was charged with prohibited sale of an alcoholic beverage, a Class A misdemeanor. Parr was issued an appearance ticket to the Town of North Salem Court on May 6.
