Suspects Fleeing Scene Of Walgreens Robbery Crash At 100 MPH In Hudson Valley, Police Say Three people who allegedly tried to rob a Hudson Valley Walgreens crashed while trying to exit the Taconic State Parkway at speeds topping 100 mph. The Dutchess County incident began in LaGrange around 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, Oct. 11, when New York State Police responded to the Walgreens on Route 55 for a reported robbery, said Trooper AJ Hicks. ID Released For School Bus Monitor Killed In Hudson Valley Crash Involving Patrol Vehicle The identity of a school bus monitor who was killed in a crash with a New York State Police vehicle in the Hudson Valley has been released. Dutchess County resident Robin P. Alvarez, age 59, of East Fishkill, was killed during the crash that took place around 3:15 p.m., Tuesday, March 8 on Route 55 and South Cross Road in LaGrange. 18-Year-Old Charged With Raping Victim Twice In Area, Police Say An 18-year-old has been charged with forcibly raping a victim on two separate occasions in the area. State Police from the Poughkeepsie barracks arrested the teen on two counts of first-degree rape, a Class B felony. Troopers were dispatched to Route 55 in the town of LaGrange for a domestic dispute on Monday, May 20. Further investigation found the suspect forcibly raped the victim on two separate occasions, state police said.
