The 48-year-old was pulled over on Campbell Avenue around 5:30 p.m. after he failed to stay in his lane and did not put on his turn signal, Ramapo police said.
Ramapo police said the man’s license had been “suspended four times” by Newburgh authorities for “failing to answer summonses.”
There were also warrants out on the man from the Town of Newburgh on charges of driving while intoxicated and aggravated unlicensed operation, police said.
The man’s car was impounded and his bail was set at $5,000.
He was taken to Rockland County Jail and is expected to appear in court later this month to answer the new charges.
