Suffern Mayor Edward Markunas said officials are open to all potential redevelopments of the property after officials at Intercos, an Italian cosmetics company, expressed interest in the 165-acre Novartis land, says lohud.com.

He's also calling on developers of a potential $250 million Legoland theme park to share more details so residents can see what it could mean for Suffern, according to lohud.com.

Ramapo officials said the massive theme park, the first for the area, would create jobs and bolster the economy, reports lohud.com.
