Adolfo Molina, 25, of Spring Valley, was arrested about 2 a.m. Saturday after officers conducting the DWI enforcement stopped him for allegedly speeding on East Hickory Street in the Hillcrest section of the town. During the stop, the officer determined that Molina was drunk, and blood alcohol tests show he was driving with a level greater than 0.08 percent, police said.

Molina was released on bail and is scheduled to appear in court later this month, police said.

Police also arrested Shahzad Alikhan, 35, of Middletown in the parking lot of a closed service station on Route 59 in Airmont at 2:30 a.m. Sunday, police said.

Alikhan was determined to be intoxicated while talking with the officer, who saw him getting out his car at the gas station. He was charged with DWI and later released on his own recognizance.
