Spring Valley Stabbing Suspect Extradited To Rockland

SPRING VALLEY, N.Y. – A Spring Valley stabbing suspect was extradited to Rockland on Friday, Feb. 12, after being found in Georgia earlier this month, according to LoHud.com.

Walter Carpio-Galicia, 32, was found in Columbia County, Ga., on Thursday, Feb. 4, after crashing a car, LoHud.com said.

Carpio-Galicia is accused of stabbing and improperly touching a 15-year old female relative on Wednesday, Feb. 3, reported LoHud.com.

He was arraigned and charged with first-degree attempted murder and first-degree burglary, and faces other misdemeanor charges stemming from earlier incidents with the relative, LoHud.com noted.
