Details have been released about the duo arrested in Pennsylvania in connection with the brutal killing of a New York mom, US Marshal Service told Daily Voice on Monday, March 25. A student at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York has been accused of threatening to shoot, stab, and rape Jewish students at the Ivy League school. A wanted fugitive suspected of gunning down a Maryland judge in his own driveway has ties to New York. Pedro Manuel Argote, age 49, is the primary suspect in the killing of Washington County Circuit Court Judge Andrew Wilkinson, who was shot multiple times outside his Hagerstown, Maryland home on Thursday night, Oct. 19. A nearly month-long investigation into drug trafficking along Albany’s Central Avenue corridor has resulted in 18 arrests. A reward has been issued for a known member of the Hell’s Angels outlaw motorcycle gang that operated out of the Hudson Valley. A 62-year-old former attorney in Fairfield County is going to spend more than six years behind bars for stealing nearly $2 million from clients, friends and family members. Thomas Murtha who previously had a law office in Bridgeport has been sentenced to 78 months in prison, followed by three years of supervised release, after pleading guilty to one count of wire fraud. He must also pay $1,994,467.15 in restitution.
