They Get Around: Police Impound 42 Vehicles, Charge 2 With Drug Possession In Westchester
Over 40 vehicles were impounded by police in a Westchester County city after a vehicle and traffic enforcement detail, which also resulted in two people being charged with drug possessions.
On Friday night, Oct. 21, the Yonkers Police Department searched the city for license plate, registration, equipment, and moving violations during the enforcement detail, police said.

Nearly Two Dozen Charged With Impaired Driving During Dutchess Detail
Authorities in Dutchess County have just announced the results of a special multi-agency holiday DWI detail in Dutchess County.
Between Friday, July 2, and Monday, July 5, law enforcement agencies in Dutchess conducted impaired driving details that included saturation of patrols throughout the county in addition to their regular patrols, the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office announced on Wednesday, July 14.
In total, 21 motorists were busted for impaired driving.

Two people were seriously injured during a three-vehicle crash in the area, including a police officer.
The Town of Poughkeepsie crash took place around 10:24 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 25, on South Road in the area of the Mobil Gas Station, said police.
