Carnegie Deli Adding Location In Region
When stacked pastrami on rye with a pickle comes to mind there's one place that most New Yorkers think of and that's the Carnegie Deli. Well, good news. Now residents of the region can enjoy the real thing now that the iconic New York City delicatessen is offering some of its favorite dishes at the Windham Mountain Resort. The deli opened its doors at the resort on Friday, Feb. 12, located in Windham in Greene County. Avalanche Damages Ski Resort In Hudson Valley During Christmas Storm
A ski resort in the Hudson Valley sustained some serious damage after an avalanche. The incident happened during the severe storm on Friday morning, Dec. 25 at Belleayre Mountain, located in Highmount in Ulster County, when the snow slid into one of the resort's lodges. "Thankfully, the building was not occupied and no one was injured during this weather event," Belleayre Mountain said in a statement.
