New Update - 36-Year-Old Goes Missing From Hospital In Region: Reward Now Offered In Case
Authorities are renewing their call for the public's help in a missing person case in the region. Just over two months ago, 36-year-old Matthew Russo went missing on Father's Day, Sunday, June 18, when he was last seen in Sullivan County at Garnet Health Medical Center in the hamlet of Harris. The Sullivan County Sheriff's Office said Russo walked out of the emergency room. Russo was wearing blue jeans and a white shirt. He is 5-foot-10, 145 pounds, and has hazel eyes and blond hair. Murder Of Hudson Valley College Student Remains Mystery 20 Years Later
New York State Police are continuing to investigate the murder of a 20-year-old Hudson Valley woman 20 years ago. Megan McDonald's body was found in Orange County on Saturday, March 15, 2003, in a field off Bowser Road in the town of Wallkill. McDonald’s 1991 white Mercury Sable was discovered two days later in an apartment complex parking lot, in the town of Wallkill, said Trooper Steven Nevel. The cause of death was determined to be blunt force trauma, Nevel said. At the time of her death, McDonald worked at the Galleria Mall in Middletown and was attending SUNY Orange …

Police and family members are still searching for an upstate New York woman who has been missing for almost a month. Albany County resident Meghan A. Marohn, age 42, of Delmar, hasn't been seen since Sunday, March 27 when she was on a trip in Western Massachusetts. One Killed In Shooting During Apparent Robbery In Area
Police in the Hudson Valley are investigating the fatal shooting of a taxi driver who was killed during an apparent robbery overnight. In Orange County, investigators from the City of Newburgh Police Department said that city resident Jorge Arbayza de la Cruz, age 51, was shot and killed by a group of men on North Miller Street at approximately 8:40 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 30. A $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest is being offered after a fatal crash involving a bicyclist in Northern Westchester. At about 10:50 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 23, Yorktown Police responded to Birdsall Drive at the Westchester County Trailway bicycle path for a report of a bicyclist struck by a vehicle. FBI Offers Reward In Connection To Investigation Of Hudson Valley Man
A reward has been issued for a known member of the Hell’s Angels outlaw motorcycle gang that operated out of the Hudson Valley. The FBI’s New York Field Office and Westchester County Safe Streets Task Force are assisting the U.S. Marshals Service in tracking down Christopher Slightham, who has ties to New Rochelle dating back years.
