4-Year-Old Rescued From Tree By Firefighters In Danbury Firefighters never know who or what they might have to rescue. Sometimes it's cats stuck up a tree or in a drainpipe, or sometimes it's a 4-year-old adventurous boy. On Monday, March 2, Danbury firefighters were called to do just that, rescue a 4-year-old who had climbed 16-feet up a tree, but couldn't get down, said the Danbury Fire Department. Luckily, mom called 911 and Engine 23 arrived to save the day when firefighter Nick Nunnally climbed the tree and rescued the child.
