Carmel Residents To Vote On $25.5M Bond For School Renovations The Carmel Central School District proposes a $25.5 million bond issue for major renovations including new roofs. The vote is on Tuesday, Oct. 2, from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. School Superintendent Andy Irvin said the roofs at all five schools are more than 30 years old and need to be replaced. He says there was already one flood at the high school this summer.
