Blaze Completely Engulfs Car In Northern Westchester: Photos Thanks to firefighters, a blaze that engulfed a vehicle in Northern Westchester was quickly put out before anyone could get hurt.  The fire happened in Briarcliff Manor on Saturday morning, Feb. 24, when a car went up in flames next to a building in the village, according to the Briarcliff Manor Fire Department.  Crews from the department soon arrived and made quick work of the blaze.  No injuries were reported, firefighters said. More information about the fire, including the cause, was not released.
