Covid-19: School District In Westchester Goes Remote For Two Weeks All five schools at a district in Westchester have moved to full remote learning for the next two weeks. The Greenburgh Central District's schools -- Woodlands Middle/High School, Lee F. Jackson Elementary, Highview Elementary, Richard J. Bailey Elementary -- and all pre-school programs closed for in-person education on Monday, Dec. 7, and will remain on a remote schedule until at least Monday, Dec. 21, the school district said. Teacher Placed On Leave For Alleged Inappropriate Conduct With Student In Westchester A Westchester teacher is on administrative leave after being accused of alleged inappropriate conduct with a student. The teacher, who works at Woodlands Middle/High School in Hartsdale, was placed on leave Thursday, April 4, Greenburgh Central School District Superintendent  Tahira A. DuPree Chase said. "The matter has been referred to the proper authorities, including the Greenburgh Police Department," Chase said in a statement.
